Tactile switches not actuating correctly in tight plate
« on: Thu, 08 February 2024, 11:18:40 »
:^(
Bought some Mountain king tactiles made by JWK for my m0lly build and had some weird key chatter when fully pressed and moved 6 0'clock. All the switches in the plate acted like this. I used the qmk configurator to test for proper actuation.
Luckily the plate lets me open switches so I tried different stems like gat brown, mx black and they worked fine with no weird actuation when fully pressed. I have put the switch in a less tight plate on a NK87 entry edition and had no problems like the other keyboard. This is not the first time I have run into tactiles making chatter in tight plates. My cod67 with a titanium plate had a similar problem with tactiles. :^(

Has anyone else had any problems with tactiles not actuating correctly in a tight plate?
