I propose a petition to unmute wrwhoami. Why was he even muted in the first place? And 100% warning level!? I'm sure it could be wagered that some of the **** I've said is far worse than anything he could have done so far, and yet his warning level far exceeds anything I've ever had imposed on me.

So why? Because he is a new member who has decided to join in the community and post frequently? I know it's not based on the quality and frequency of his posts, because there are members here who post way more and of less quality than this. Can you blame him for what he sees here and replicates?

I just checked and he's still muted. Why is this being ignored? This is a travesty. Other people do much worse things and don't get any action taken against them and he is penalized to the max?

Are you threatening to abuse your powers as a moderator and to mute me when I've done nothing to bring it about?

This is a serious issue. There is a lack of balance in how people are moderated, and for what. I think it should be brought to attention.

You're right! Moose is tolerated, while others are muted. Moose, do you want to change the thread title to "Mute Moose" or should I start my own thread for that?

wrwhoami was muted for spamming and ignoring a warning to stop spamming.  His post history speaks for itself.

Warning level decreases by 5% every 24 hours.  The mute happened less than 24 hours ago so he's still at 100%.  A warning level >= 60% is a mute, meaning that warning up to 100% is effectively an 8-day partial ban.  After some discussion we agree with moose that this was excessive and have lowered it.  He should be able to post again tomorrow.  If the spamming continues, we'll reconsider.
