hey folks

the solid eta is very soon, im just waiting for a ship date

we made some sweeping changes before production started including fixing a huge amount of legends and also made drastic improvements to the bottom of all caps

production is in full swing and as soon as it is finished they just need to be factory sorted, as soon as the final keys are run off ill post full pics for everyone and at that time have a ship date

ive got test run pics of some of the changes on my desktop ill post shortly

Any word on those pics? I'd love to check them out, even if they're only test runs.

Yes ma'am

Take the trolling elsewhere.  We don't need people like you stirring things up in here for the sake of drama.  We've got plenty of that to go around already if you really want it.

I'm not trolling, a group buy leader said he would post pictures of the re-done sets the next day which was two days ago.

"We don't need people like you stirring things up in here for the sake of drama."  People like me that takes peoples words for face value?  If you say you're going to do something then do it.  If you're someone that manages a group buy then you shouldn't say something you don't mean or can't fulfill.  I'm not trying to cause drama, I'm trying to hold someone to their word and obviously that's considered trolling and not welcome here on geekhack.

Maybe try a polite reminder next time.  People forget things.  Obstacles come up.  If you actually cared about the picture being posted, you would do so in a constructive manner.  What you've done is trolling and is not helpful.

I'd like to see those pictures as well but the way you asked about them was deliberately insulting.

Some of the legends were inconsistent. On certain LEDs, the caps would hit the LED.

i didnt have my skype history on this computer annoyingly but here is the last set of revisions i have to hand

we have done some fine tuning since and ill get more pics up as soon as i can

the 9,c and v have been changed again since this pic

the tests are running using the black from black and orange and the red from red and white, we run the tests off in colours that arent offered so they cant be confused or reused

once again we have made further alterations since these pics and ill get more up to date stuff as soon as possible to you folks and full pics of the finished sets soon

the bottom of all the caps has also been modified across the board which allows for the larger style leds and switches that are orientated differently

It's been significantly improved further as well since then, based on feedback on the old sets since this buy finished there were changes that simply had to be made, they are however finished now

Not a lot of people know what goes into organizing and running a Group Buy, they all think that anyone who posts here at GH gets the keys done fast and easily and 9 times out of 10 it can be done BUT then come the curve-balls, like the manufacturer stuffs up or doesn't produce the quality and/or standards required.

Hence Bunny makes sure EVERYTHING is done perfectly here.  His standards are the ONLY one that meets with even intense OCDs out there, so all you need to be is patient because we all shall be receiving the all important front door reception, of our goodies  :thumb: .

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

You should avoid Coca-Cola in the first place.  Rots your teeth out, so when you hit teenage years you'll be walking around with plastic teeth for the rest of your life.

If you're thirsty, drink Beer instead.  Bunny should of done a XXXX space bar here, then I'll buy at least 20 of them  :thumb: .

Sorry if I'm in danger of making this go off-topic, but JTK Looks great on a Clueboard without any additional kits needed.  :D

What I'd like to see Ergodox compatibility. Even if it was a blank key-pack that was separate like the spacebar kits.

Thank you for the update BunnyLake.

Full production is exciting - shipping time is drawing nearer :)

Sorry to hear about your son - I hope things go as smoothly as they can for all of you.

Bunny as a parent this will be one of the most helpless times in your life and all you can do is watch and wait.

Hope he gets better soon, everyone here in Convict Town is praying for his quick recovery  :thumb: .
