Tac glasses on TV funny
« on: Sat, 17 February 2018, 21:43:13 »
You all most likely know anything as seen on TV is junk. I just found it funny that Tac glasses took almost verbatim Maui Jim's ad copy. Maui jim are the real deal in sunglasses. Tac glasses are not. Also a little secret people know pre 2005 Maui jim are even better than the currently outstanding ones. Therefore new ones start at $229. New old stock will run $600-$5,500. Obviously there is a difference to Tac glasses that are run of the mill gas station glasses. This was just on my mind and I figured this crowd is probably into good glasses as well. Yes RX since most of us nerds do wear the stereotypical glasses. Side story I am pretty nice but of course people picked on me. AT MIT a kid had punched me and broke my lovely Porsche frames lol. Oh forget the Bavarian edge as well! I bet many of you also have good knives. It will destroy them. No way around a wet stone there.

Don't waste your money, get one of these and never worry about sharpening again (unless you have show blades, in which case you should be sharpening by hand anyways)!
