I'm in for a full silver kit, I was planning to build something custom to the same degree and this will save me a lot of time and look a lot cooler.

I'd love one with a silver case with some blockers :)

You can count me as a maybe. Not sure if I'll have enough money if it comes around. Shame the plate doesn't support top pulling though.

Check my mixtape, fam.

I'm definitely in. I've budgeted for this board since the New Year, and passed on the TX1800 specifically to purchase this. Can't wait.

Will be in for a full kit in black, and duck blockers as well.

We will have to see if Duck is willing to do assembly for some. Of course it will come at a price. They did it last time but I'm not sure if taylordcraig asked or not.

That was just copied from the original group buy thread about a year ago. I think we need at least 30 people expressing interest to even get Duck to consider doing another run of these, so the more the merrier!

I'd be curious to know someone's opinion on this. These cases looks quite steep and I haven't used a board with it's legs extended in a long time.

I've started playing with the idea of ordering from the Round 5a group buy for a new set to go with this. That violet and cream. It's fun using the keyboard layout editor to imagine how it will look with my preferred layout.

You need to hit a lot more than MOQ in the interest check.  I would estimate the IC->GB conversion rate at 60%

Yeah I said at least thirty. I wasn't planning on bringing it to ducks attention until after >40

Does anyone remember seeing any SA profile keys on a Lightsaver? Would that even be a good idea?
Yeah bianco had Penumbra on his version 1 before. Check the media thread it's in there somewhere.

I also have had penumbra on mine, feels a little weird, but if you have a palm rest of float pretty strong it's totally comfortable.

TaylorCraig, if its ok with you, i'd like to put this up on DeskThority as well. You can if you are a member but like radio_killah said, i'd like to hit the 30 sooner rather then later and i think at least some of them would be interested.

Please do! The more the merrier.

Does the bottom row need to have the 1x key or can you have a standard bottom row layout?
From the thread linked in the OP:

That picture is from LSv1, so there isn't 1800 layout and short shifts displayed, but yeah, you can do a standard bottom row and I think even more variable now. [closer to, but not quite AS custom as RS3]

Anybody knows how the tilt angle (11 degrees) is on this compared to a Filco with its legs fully extended? Not so much of the numbers, but more of how similar/different do the tilt angles feel?

It's fairly similar, [definitely comparable if you consider the height difference] I had a filco104 and 2 CODE keyboards I used with legs up, I think they're a little less steep, and DEFINITELY less high than the lightsaver case, the front of the LS is 2cm high.

THANK YOU EVERYONE!

I cannot for the life of me decide which layout, but i know i need to order caps at some point. Which bottom row layout would i need to sneak in the d-pad with the right short shift and the Up key next to it.

will a layout like this http://goo.gl/0V5fLH be possible?

i'm thinking about getting the TA Set and a LS 2 and thought they'd be a perfect match with some cyan LEDs :)

Yes everything on that layout should be possible on the V2 version of the pcb except the short left shift.

I am unsure of that short left shift...

I just looked through a bunch of v2 pictures and it should support everything on that layout except the short left shift. The PCB didn't have the holes to support it.

There are more 1x on the right side of spacebar. I don't think PCB can support all. That is what I 'm saying although I don't care short right shift. I think it can.

however, i prefer mid profile keys, now using gmk dolch

How does the metal plate work to accommodate all the different layouts? Will I have to choose when ordering the parts?

Also I didn't specify on my last post but I'm interested in a whole kit in black with some blockers too.

iirc, the plate should support all the available layouts on the pcb. It wouldn't be a single hole for a switch, it would be longer so that you can move it to the side and such.

Does anyone have this diagram but specifically for the V2 PCB?

I understand that the V2 and V1 don't share the same layouts.
