I'm not much of a fan of the Deathadder, but this thing looks gorgeous.

And before anyone pisses in their paints, that's a replica, a mod, it's not the legendary "Cypher Deathadder", although there is an original Deathadder 3.5G in there (though the real version had 3G internals).

I'm a -huge- fan of deathadders. Where did you get that? :O

I got my QWER9 today from QwerTim  :)

Woah, nice! What are the switches? I got the MaxKB 8 sampler and it has Blue, Green, White, Brown, Clear, Gray, Red, and Black. I can't... actually think of any other MX switches, unless it's like jailhouse blues or ergo clears or some other hybrid...

you can find some obscure mx switches listed here: http://deskthority.net/wiki/Cherry_MX#Other_variants

Wow.  Anyone ever tried these?

My MKC Zinc keycaps. But I think I'm gonna sell them. I like them, they came out really good, but I bought them on impulse and, well, shouldn't have haha.

I know, it's a complicated relationship.

If you had a scale, you could've just measured the weight of 1 and then compare it to the weight with all of them to get a rough estimate of how many there are.

I just got a package in the mail from god knows who and I wasn't there to pick it up so it will be going to the post office.
It could be stuff from feng, secret santa, sprit (ha. no.), or it could be my 50 key kishaver, or a secret admirer
I guess I will have to find out tomorrow.

EDIT: it is indeed my 50 key kishaver!

So I was expecting to get a package containing Ivan's GMK dolch that I bought off user Jufa here... However instead I received a package listed for someone else but inside was a Bro Bot V1.. I paid through paypal thank god so I am protected.. Any advice on what to do?

I think it might have been a mix up on his end. I hope it was...

Damn :( That must have been confusing to open up. He probably just got the shipping labels switched around. I've been really worried that I had accidentally done that in the past, luckily never did though :p

Well.... it feels about as good as a rubber dome can feel :)). Definitely not something I'll be typing on daily but the OG swag factor is through the roof :p

Fun fact: the PD-KB02 somehow weighs more than the Pro 2 (only by a few oz though)

A day or two ago, but another USB to serial cable.  This one actually works!

And they included a small driver CD, which was cracked.  Just as well I don't need it.

Pictures somewhere, I was hoping to post them yesterday, but it didn't happen.

Now I need to see if my VT220 still works.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

G80-3000HFMGB with MX blues. Very pleased with it for £25 shipped. Dirty with shiny alphas, but the mods and most other keys are mint. Most importantly, those win98 keys are mint.

And these beauties. Thanks nubbinator :-*
