Hey everyone!
This is Moyu.Studio, re-introducing the Queen Switch interest check. We're based in China and this is our second switch group buy. Our first was the Momei switch, which was run in China and Europe.
[attachimg=2]
The Switch Colors: The housing will be a semi transparent red, with a black POM stem. The colors are inspired by the Queen position on a chess board.

Switch Details:
Linear switch
Manufactured by JWK
Top Housing: Polycarbonate (PC)
Stem: POM
Bottom Housing: Nylon
PCB Mount/5-Pin
No Factory Lube
Spring: A unique, 60g, three section spring
Details on the spring: Building on the popular two-stage springs, this is an entirely new type of spring, never before seen in a switch. This spring provides a small change in pressure during the press and a strong rebound. It's a wonderful, unique touch.

We are currently working with the manufacturer on getting samples prior to the Group Buy launch. Please fill out the IC Form so that we can get more feedback on the Queen Switch prior to the Group Buy.

Yes

So uh, is it linear or tactile?
Doubt it, looks like a progressive clicky.

What is the 'Momei Switch' you speak of in the first post?
Is it this:
https://www.theremingoat.com/blog/moyu-black-switch-review
Referred to as 'Moyu Blacks' or 'Everglide Dark Jades' here in the US?
-
Could you provide a force curve?
Physically that spring is just some spring put in series, which is equivalent to a simple long spring (which in this community is called slow-curved)

will you be giving these to reviewers?

So now I am confused. This means that there are two different Moyus? We have Moyu Blacks from awhile ago and now a Moyu.Studio that is saying that Momei Switches (which are literally just stock JWK options given a name) were their first and only other switch.

Love the colors

taken directly from the post...Switch Details: Linear switch.
So I'm going to go out on a limb and guess it's linear.

These spring have caught my attention. How long are they? They also don't look like they need to be orientated specifically.
-
The two-stage springs sound really interesting. Are we able to buy the springs as extra's to experiment with?

We will provide it as soon as possible

We don't just sell springs at the moment, I'm sorry
-
very interested! when is the GB?
-
I've been wanting for something interesting in black and red for a while to match my sanctuary rebirth build. It seems like I found it !

Im guessing Moyu Blacks/Black Jades is not the same as Moyu.Studio's or are affiliated and Momei switches are their first switches as stated by them. I think they chose their name without knowing since they are new I guess. But I can defininetly see the confusion.

I'm very glad to get your love

Given the spacing between the coils, I'm not sure how much more benefit a triple stage extension spring like this would have over other dual rate extension springs. Dual stage springs are already pretty consistent feeling throughout the keypress, but there is also more space between the coiling.
That being said, it's a longboi sprongis and I'm always down for more slow-spring options. Will be keeping an eye on this.

I think it will have even more of the strong rebound than the dual extension spring  But after all this is not Treeleaf land and not everything makes perfect sense

Intriguing, I'd love to try them out
-
How will this differ in feel from other progressive spring/switches like Marshmallows?
-
GB started and we still have no force curve. When can we expect one?
-
I dig the color and the fact that this IC was posted on my birthday.
-
GB is up :)

This group buy was a huge disappointment. The main selling point of the switch is the three-sectioned spring which you gave no explanation as to what it does to the keyfeel, we haven't gotten a force curve, the actual color of the switch is closer to Tangerines than what was shown to us in the renders (https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0295/3245/4956/products/1_03fd8126-a499-4fa2-8d45-606519a6f859_1800x1800.png?v=1612090281) and the only info we could get from you is that it's a linear switch. What's the point of running an interest check if there is no communication, no updates and no answered questions?
I have lost all interest in this GB because of the lack of transparency and communication and will be spending my money on Alpacas instead.

Thank you! Nobody here seems to understand simple mechanics ... this is madness! Multi stage springs are total BS :D nice color though ;)
