Hey everyone, thanks for taking time out of your day to take a look at my little project. I wanted to make a simple kit for WoB Katakana that fits my preferences and I wanted to share it with y’all. I know there is a Mono Katakana set already out there, but I wanted to move the Katakana legends to the front of the keycap and preserve the numrow for functionality.

When? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ -- Ideally I would like to run this in spring if possible, but I am not in a rush

Interesting design you guys have there. Not sure if you're targeting the right audience here. There's a lot more information you guys should probably provide with regards to the pricing and such. Also stating the fact that it was took a while to colour match until recently isn't very confidence inducing especially considering the fact that you guys want to run this so soon.

I'm not the target audience for this sort of design but good luck with the IC and the board. Hopefully it all works out for you guys.

i think the color matching bit was a joke, its using stock colors

Since you say there's already another set out there wouldn't it make more sense to just sell the top num row with the front print then selling an entire keycap set that already exist? I forgot the keycap set but on novelkeys they did something similar where they ran a gb for a few keys.

I've made some changes to other legends to be more minimal and fit my preferences. I definitely see where you're coming from tho. I would rather offer the kit as is so that the base kit buyers can fill 2 boards, compared to the existing set kata set thats not often restocked (iirc was a groupbuy, but someone can correct me on that). I also do not wanna waste gmk production queue time on a numrow only kit, it just seems like a waste and I would rather provide a more substantial kit.

Cool idea for R1. Don't know if you're still planning to do this but WoB Kata is restocked frequently on Drop so maybe you'll have more options.

Also, my boy ト is lookin a little low and ロ a little flat and skinny in the renders. Looks like you tried to recreate the legends for renders and everything looks close enough except for those two that stick out to me
