i don't play many to be fully honest but there was that one monkey-themed game that i heard was good

edit: i think i remember now, it was either bloons td 6 or a member of the series

Gemcraft was so comprehensively good that I never wanted to play another tower defence game again, although it's been a while now. The last iteration started off WAY too hard though, so I think the second one is still the best.
