Some kind of Cherry board maybe? (G80-3000 or G81-3000?)

Most definitely a 3000-series Cherry. Probably G81 or G83, and slightly yellowed as well. Looks to be a rather old sample with two-shot injection molded keys, which therefore might be worth having (for another G81, at least - the keycaps don't really fit MX switches).

I have a Peacock branded G81. The case is different though. This one here looks like a 3000 case. I'd vote G81-3000.

The guy is away until the 24th so will not be able to ship until then.
Also he does not know the part number or what the keys feel like

A fairly common name on PCs back in the early '90s over here. The company was situated in Paderborn, with the name being inspired by historic events, as far as I was able to find out. Merged with the distributor Actebis at some point, with the product lines being merged in 2004.

Our first computer was from the competition, ASI (Aquarius Systems International). Possibly it was even assembled in Sömmerda (ex-Robotron works). ASI later ended up with Fujitsu and then Fujitsu-Siemens (FSC), now just Fujitsu again, and I guess their consumer lines are still being produced there.
