Ive sent both discord pm and email but i dont think you've responded to both. Should I send a geekhack pm instead? its about the invoice.
if anyone wants to organize a brass plate buy for this, I'd be down for one.

for whoever got these, I plan to do a run of 1.2mm thick PCBs and FR4 Full/Half plates probably in July/August.
WK 87+1 => 88 lucky numberWKL 84 + 1 => 85 ( avoid “4” )Very nice design.So sad that I missed.Waiting for next round .

Would anyone have the default firmware for the PCB by any chance?Edit: Has anyone soldered in switch LEDs on the PCB? I get a whining noise when connecting the board and it just dies for a bit :/
Does anyone have the link for the TGR discord?
Curious to see what rear plate colour everyone went with, blackout or multicolour?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What is the idea behind only having the brass weight centered around the alpha keys? Will this change the feel of the board?
Brass directly underneath the alphas should help with producing a nice thocky sound when typing.

Sound travels faster through aluminum and does not give off that deep, thocky sound as much as brass. Ideally, a full brass case would produce the best sound. However, economic constraint is a big downside. The best compromise would be having a large brass weight where keystrokes are registered the most (hence the center of the bottom case right underneath the alphanumeric keys) to reflect as much sound as possible from bottoming out.

Actually sound travels faster through higher density materials. Not saying you are wrong bout the sound resonance produced and which sounds better, just that sound velocity is faster through higher density materials.
The density of a medium is the second factor that affects the speed of sound. Density describes the mass of a substance per volume. A substance that is more dense per volume has more mass per volume. Usually, larger molecules have more mass. If a material is more dense because its molecules are larger, it will transmit sound slower.
Are there any left or did I just miss out?

And even then it’s mot that simple, the range of speed in aluminum is 3040-6420 m/s whereas brass is 3500-4700
