To be clear that person sold a Jane V2 in hand and not a spot in line. Anyone know the ETA on the CE?

and the person who sold it got it from another Korean user for $2500 USD + shipping. So users just trying to recoup what they paid for it.

Additionally it was the Jane V2 with only ~40 public units.

WK is further ahead in the mfg process than WKL; WKL should be at ano since this last week if things went as planned according to Yuktsi.

No, in regards to that pic of weights. There is some variation in the multicolor process and some ended up being more yellow vs purple/green.

It’s between you, the buyer, and the runner. With the invoice already paid, you’d just have to message Yuktsi if he’d be cool with moving your spot to them so they get the shipping invoice.

If you're really desperate for this keyboard then no one here can really stop you. Having said that I think most of us here would appreciate if you don't enable the folks selling something they don't actually have in-hand yet. Not only does it further sour the whole experience for people who missed out on the GB by a literal second and/or CAPTCHA, but you also open Yuktsi up to more risk (remember, this is a ~100 unit run) with having to keep up with slots being sold and things potentially being sent to the wrong people, etc, etc.

There's just so much that can go wrong in the realm of selling spots so generally the overall consensus is to please don't do it.

Gotta have some fast fingers, autofill, or bots for these FCFS buys. Regular prices are for the quick. Resell prices are for the slow.

I don't think there are bots which may fill out individual forms.  The people i've talked to which do won previous Jane V2 or this particular GB (i got myself into this one for example) were just prepared. So its all about one thing in those FCFS group buys.

- Will you get the captcha by submitting the form or not?

Yeah for sure, but anyone who uses chrome regularly will be exempt from the captcha. Gotta have quick fingers or form filling techniques, be it chrome extensions or form filling macros or a combo of both.

There are no macros which do work safely to fill out the form. Some people tried this already and it more slows you down since you have to correct the input of macros. Also the 100 units were sold in literally 3 seconds. Fast fingers? Bots? Macros? Even with Macro you would not be able to fill it out in 3 seconds because you had to choose options and there were i believe 3 pages to fill out. Think about it. Everything else is just rumors.

This is why you use autofill extensions that look for the form fields that correspond to consistent fields in the form (ie, email, gh/reddit username, etc), and then keyboard macros to fill the rest that aren't consistent.

As a clarification, v2 CE filled up in 3 seconds because everyone had the form pre-filled. There were no bots, macros, or fast hands involved -- everyone had nearly an hour to prepare their form. All they had to do was click submit once the clock hit the mark and hope for the best.

2700!!!? You can miss me with that. It may be an amazing board I realized I was late for this one sadly but there are limits. I can wait for the regular price this was set at for next time lol

No, in this case the form was already open. You just had to click submit at the right time.

I had like 5 windows open and started clicking submit a few seconds before the it was officially time. 1 of my 5 made it within the window.

As a clarification, v2 CE filled up in 3 seconds because everyone had the form pre-filled. There were no bots, macros, or fast hands involved -- everyone had nearly an hour to prepare their form. All they had to do was click submit once the clock hit the mark and hope for the best.

Yep that's the truth. No magic involved ;)

Ah, that is smart but might also be risky, in case only one entry is allowed! ;)

It was actually 2 seconds for this GB to hit over 100. Also the original V2 sold out in ~40 seconds, which is IMO plenty of time for fast fingers to go through a short 2-page order form (with the help of some auto fill that is)

If you count from 0 to the end of the 2 second you will get full 3 seconds of time.

The V2 40 second was not up to discussion. We discussed about how the form could be filled out in 3 second. Which is impossible even with bots or scripts because the forms do vary and you still had to do manual stuff. And as it was mentioned already people filled out the form before and submitted it at the very moment.

This one was an extra challenge because clock time isn't a universal thing. I had multiple different clocks up from different sources that didn't share exactly to the second the same time.

for future google form gbs like this i suggest syncing with googles own time
