Why do you keep your order when you know you won't like it?
I only received my order on Monday 7th of July 2014 (this week). When I first opened the package I was impressed with SP's presentation (as always) BUT when it was installed into my 1800, Filco and then a spare GON (regret doing that) that was when I freaked at their malformations in every keyboard.
I didn't really see a thorough example of anyone else's till I saw another person who photographed it head-on with no filters applied or led effects to cover up the distortion of the keys. But always when we FIRST paid up for these key-caps there was no mention nor any photo's showing these horrible misshapen keys at all. Plus you keep hoping that YOUR own order would arrive perfect, like with every order you conduct on PMK's website in the past.
So before everyone gets on their HIGH horse and start dispensing fantasy versions of what was released onto the customers here know that it happened AFTER all the money was paid up and not before, because frankly I suspect Granite would hardly reach tipping point if SP bothered to show the manufactured keys up front first
(which I suspect they wanted to avoid at all costs, just my own personnel viewpoint here, because I don't work or run SP).I am just glad Melissa agreed to refund the full costs I paid for this hence no damage to my bank account just yet. But I remembered when PMK started she stated clearly to everyone out there if you (the customer) is unhappy with your key-set then send it back to them and you shall receive the full refund plus all shipping costs as well.
If a Manufacturer is true to their own standards then they need to stand behind their own product when it comes to quality. Need to see if this will be carried out as to their email statements to me and as usual I will keep everyone appraised here on this forum with my current situation regarding, receiving a full refund
