Anybody here use Logic Pro and/or write music?

I used to write and record quite a bit, but after years of touring and dealing with the 'biz I got put off and more or less quit. I just dj now, as I find it more amusing and less demanding, plus the pay is usually better.
I've never used that software, but cakewalk, cubase, reason and a little pro tools. Not sure what help I could give but I like your sample.

When I had a semester of computer music, I distinctly remember Logic being much more intuitive and easy to do complex MIDI arrangments than Pro Tools. Since I'm usually using a PC, I guess I'll try Reaper instead.

What's your setup? What monitors do you have?
