I don't know what I find most strange, that people are getting extremely excited because they were allowed to purchase an item,
or people getting mad because they were not allowed to purchase item. It's only business y'all.

Eh i listed everything available in the sale in the order i wanted them; there wasn't anything there that i didn't want unlike the 420 sale where i do not wish to own anything with a "leaf". Yet again i didn't get any MX clacks but I got 15, 16, and 17 to make a nice triple on my model m.

From what i can tell he goes by in the order in which it hits his inbox and he allows you have up to 3 of your choices in the order of preference listed in the email then by in the order they are available/stocked. it may just be as simple as he has a column in a spreadsheet for each key caps and lists the names under them in the order in which he received them in his inbox, once the number of rows matches the stock then its over for that key cap; and after a person reaches 3 selections that person is cut off. that is how i HOPE he handles it; what i worry about is if he treats anyone preferential selection.

i'm starting to feel bad for getting 3......i may have to pay it forward on geekhack somehow to feel better.

That would be noble of you glod. I don't wanna be THAT new guy that shows up and starts asking for stuff. But if you do decide to "pay it forward" and help a guy buy his first at least closer to price then these poachers that'd be great. I'm looking for MX CCs myself but at least I'll have one to trade for a MX. Or at least that's the idea.

I can't remember, but it was a joke thread.  They posted a massive trollface in the body.

CC has advised that he has posted everything.

We shall expect pictures in the next day or two ;)
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
