Author Topic: Will Raptor K1 locks work in a G80-3000 (Read 2594 times)

I'm just wondering if the locks in the Raptor K1 would work in a Cherry G80-3000, since they are manufactured by the same company but maybe they modified the raptor to accept these locks or that the the G80-1800 and K1 have a different design from the G80-3000?

Also if they do, any clue where you can buy a pair?

They're shown in the PDF on cherry's website so I assume they're a standard MX switch accessory.

The locks I have work wiith Cherry MX, Alps and maybe even Topre (but with 60 keys, blocking one would ridiculous).

I don't have a part number for you because I called them and told them my needs, they sent me five for $4.something and they work great.

I needed them to lock out the Insert button on my Windows keyboards because on Mac that is the Help button, which every time it's touched, kicks me out of the program for the damned Help Viewer.

Yup they seem to sell a variety of them although its a US site so wonder if they'll deliver to UK

although the the top row 2nd from the left look like the ones that came with the rapter k1, but i guess if it works then it works

BTW, the key locks I bought work great on the Model M - almost a total lockout.
