Was changing my key caps...
« on: Thu, 27 March 2014, 10:05:21 »
taking off the o-rings, into a little pile, to be bagged up later.
cat swoops by and grabs some in his mouth
R.I.P 5 o-rings.

(he swallowed them, he always tries to eat elastic bands, hair elastics etc)

Cats are evil. My cat likes to try and puke on my keyboards, when I step away from my PC. It's annoying.

At least your cat will be a little bit quieter for a couple of days.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

The day after I brought Pixel back from the ASPCA she hopped up onto my desk and walked across my keyboard, which at the time had MX blues. The clicks scared the **** outta her, and now she carefully tip-toes around any keyboard she sees :))

I leave my PC side panels off all the time and my cat, stuck his head inside once and got his head stuck in a fan, hiilarious but had to replace the fan and dust out the cat hair mess he made.
