i'm going to go ahead and declare you the victor, since you got it right on the very finest of lines.  my apologies to kabuks, but i would have chosen you of course if you had both posted at the exact same time.

i didn't even notice this was happening, so i apologize to you things were a bit unclear.  i guess the way i saw it looking back is like this:

bunnylake got to 16 first
eradicatedzombie matched
bunnylake self-bumped to 17
rararararra bumped the other one to 17

i guess here you either look at it as eradicatedzombie staying at 18, taking rarararararar's place at 17, or returning to the original 16 bid.  i don't think there was any good way to tell, really, so i kind of just went with the principle that they got there first and you didn't completely outbid them.  sorry about that.

i think i sent pms to everyone, remind me if i screwed something up again.
