"Layout Problem" Kinesis Advantage
« on: Mon, 15 September 2014, 12:35:06 »
Hello everyone,

I'm testing a Kinesis advantage right now. I'm havily confused with the Layout of the Keyboard. I must say  have here a Kinesis Advantage UK Layout and use it on a Win7 PC with GERMAN Windows Layout.

I know that i can reprogram the keys, but since so many keys are so different i would need An overview of what key me/Printout of what means what now.

Does somebody know where i could get a print out of what key of an Advantage UK Layout with German Windows means?

Greetings to all of you!

If you have the UK mode, here is your current layout:

If your operating system is set to German, here is what the keys are actually doing:

You can also get German keycaps that will make things a lot easier. The only difference between The UK Advantage and the German Advantage are the keycap legends. The operating system itself is what changes the keys depending on what language it's set to.

P.S. Do you sell Kinesis Keyboards (must be since you instantly) knew this. What's your website..

Natas206 works for Kinesis, and is always helpful with technical stuff.

I hope he doesn't mind me answering for him.
