What about Orange with black plate?

I don't even know why were discussing this lol, unless there is a poll we aren't going to have much input on the colors, although talking about it is fun :)

Let me rephrase that. They don't suck, they are just so similar to every other Korean keyboard run. The cool part about LZ was that they are different.

Agree, i think for all that money and such a special event i was hoping for something more fanciful, more unique

I believe hard anodized because they are aluminum. Power coating is for stainless steel.

black and metal grey where the most on the spreadsheet.

Red was just a random.

Only other color options besides red is:

gold
light pink
blue

These are anodized

@Boost: I wanted to clarify that I am not mad at you about color choice or anything involving this Groupbuy, I felt my last couple posts were accusatory and that wa not my intent :) I think you are doing a great job organizing this. I was just a little disappointed with the color choices, but please don't misconstrue that as a lack of interest in this GB. I am still going to try and get one :p

I don't think so, since they have to media blast the anodized layer off anyway to get to the bare metal.

No reason to media blast.  Color shouldn't matter one bit since step 1 of anodizing is pickling.

Has anyone got any ideas on what it would cost to get the case reanodized? I'm definitely interested in this case, but if I'm dropping some real money (which it sounds like I will have to) I want something more bling!

This will depend on where you live and what options you have available to you. If you are lucky you can find prices around $30-40, I know some places go as high as $100. Keep in mind doing anodizing in low amounts (just 1 keyboard) tend to cost more per unit compare to doing a mass anodizing for a bulk amount.

Seen $35-65 bandied about depending on getting people to share, and playing in someone else's bath water.

Yup, I recently got a quote for anodizing, $30 per rack. So a single plate = $30 or 10 plates for $3 each.  (10 plates per rack max)

Maybe this place can only handle one rack per tub? Does $3 per phantom plate sound like a lot? I thought it was pretty cheap

Didn't get any numbers yet, but will most likely have your shop do the anodizing for the plate.

Something I realized I should ask: will this keyboard be programmable? Would almost be a bit strange if it wasn't, but I'm not too familiar with traditions in the Korean Kustom Keyboard world. I've been all about Swedish/American/German joint forces' customs for a while instead. :)

Hey guys i have a set price on a keyboard 3 piece set (after we exceed the amount of one bath) that i got from my last run (though was unable to hit it)

Also it can be whatever color before really when getting re anodized though i believe their may be the least amount of work with clear but i may be wrong
