Poker 3 keycap legends

I've read that the legends on Poker 3 keycaps wear off fairly easily. So, if I'd like a blank set of keycaps for the Poker 3, is there a way to quickly remove the laser etching on the stock pbt keycaps without damaging them? Something like rubbing alcohol would be much cheaper than ordering a new set of keycaps, assuming it worked, and didn't damage the plastic.


I'm thinking specifically of the white pbt keycaps with black legends on the current poker 3 (non-led backlit), in case that makes a difference.

The infill wears off the dark keycaps, and so you end up with basically engraved legends after some use.

However, laser-etching on a light-colored surface doesn't wear off nearly as easily.
