New "Trade Count" classifieds feedback fields
« on: Tue, 08 May 2018, 09:25:55 »
Good day, everyone,

We've finally implemented an integrated trade feedback system, which you might see shown next to everyone's username.  Feedback may be submitted based on your buying / selling / and trading activity with other site members, and each it requires moderator approval before it is implemented.  We're still working out the kinks, so a more detailed announcement will follow.

This is work-in-progress, and we might use a different template for the final version.  It's still in the testing phase.

Time to get my trade count up to the same number as post count  (Looks in closet at unbuilt kits, parts, and keycap sets)  yep, totally doable.

I like the idea, but not how it's displayed.

If there was some way to display it on profile only, or maybe only in the Classified subforum, then I think that'd be best. Otherwise it just feels rather intrusive in it's current form.

I just got confused by the Trade Count display b/c on desktop it is in bold under the poster's name like "Thread Starter" usually is.   It seems too prominent being so high up and emphasized with font weight.

It's just been implemented in its generic form without any tweaks, which is what you're seeing.  Definitely taking all the comments and criticism into consideration in terms of reaching a more final configuration.

The system is not yet operational (I mean it is, but we've not officially "released it" for public use yet), because some UI things should be changed, and it's possible we'll even end up using a different template altogether.  So no feedback can be submitted yet.

The feedback rating and breakdown can now only be seen after clicking on a user's profile.

OK, so it should be usable by everyone now.  I've removed it from the post view as well, which I agree was kind of lame.

Looks like I can only see my feedback, and not others? :p

You should see others' feedback, but it's currently not showing up in the Ultimate Profile.  Work in progress :)  Not available for use again, still testing.
