In the picture... most of them are semi-glare.
And red on, the third from the GON NS 38GT Pink is non-glare, and the red one /w red bolts is a glare one.

But its hard to distinguish in the picture...
And, even though you choose semi-glare, it sometimes comes out more like non-glare or full-glare.
Anodizing is very hard to make all the same at anytime...

But this little arbitrariness makes my customers' cases Unique. ;)
(Hard to find exactly the same ones...)

Your cases are amazing.
I hope they will be available for a while, so I can save enough money to buy one.

I have one question.
That black 38GT in the middle column.
It must have a special purpose. May I ask what it's for?

Well, that question should be asked to my customer, not me. ;)
I think he would use it as a specialized gaming controller.
Even though I have made/assembled/tuned HUNDREDs of keyboards for others, I myself don't have a full-tuned Custom Keyboard now.

what is the blue 75% housing in the bottom left? It looks like it may be for a MX-Mini, but the modifier row has weird wide holes.

Yes that's for MX-MINI.
The bottom holes for compatibility.

This housing can fit MX-MINI Winkeyless and PS2AVR MX-MINI(Winkey/winkeyless Combo).
The bottoms hole design is due to "one-fits-all" purpose.

How do we program your PCBs?

One thing I can't do for custom keyboards is programming from scratch. I think you'll have to make a guide on this since it seems more people are starting to get more of your PCBs/housing. Anyone on GH (excluding GON of course) have a fully built ps2avr that can comment, or am I the first?

I have not had time too look into this yet.
But I assume you would use the ISP header and a compatible programmer.
Not sure which firmware you should use though.

Would be cool if GON can provide a little info concerning this.

I think you would be the first one who build a keyboard with that PCB.
I can give you a link. But the explanation is in Korean.
You have to encode a keymap/firmware file and write it with ISP loader.

http://www.kbdmania.net/xe/data/5953500

And that is not my PCB but 괴수가면 designed it.

Thanks for the link. It shows the maxtrix and has precompiled firmware to download. But how do I flash the firmware onto the controller using the ISP header?

It depends on your ISP loader.
You will have to study to use it. ;)

Most frequently used SMD size in Korean CUSTOM is 2012(metric).

Answer to the second question depends on which preflashed Controller chips you need. ;)

You may not know, but I bought an A.87 with nothing soldered to it (similar to WFD), how to I get it to work since I'm not sure I can just plug it in and load firmware to it like a phantom. I'm not very good with software stuff :(

The paradox lying here is....

Even though I burn chips with firmware, shipping is at least $24 to the US... too high just for a chip.... ;(

I know it's a fixed shipping rate like everywhere else so does it mean he has to purchase something else to help make that $24.00USD more palatable?

I would get an extra pcb and/or plate bundled with that chip...... just my own personnel 'stupid' recommendation here.

Yes, I think $24 shipping just for "x"g small chip is too high for a buyer.
For me, it doesn't matter, but for a buyer, I think, it matters...

Hi Gon,

I am looking to try Ergo clear switches, but im a noob with modding and stuff.
How does it work? I send you all the stuff? or I can buy stuff from you, stuff as in springs, switches, boards etc.

i am also looking to get a new board, not modding mine own ones. how do i start? you have any recommendations? maybe you have board for sale, switches and all the rest? just not a full size.

My girlfriend is in Seoul, so shipping stuff isnt a problem.

Thanks, Poom

Dear GON

I would like to ask:

1) How could I reprogram 38GT PCB? I am new to this board and so lost with many found results on this forum
2) Would you be able to design a board with SMD LED instead of normal LED?

Really appreciate if you could reply. Thanks
