Glad to see great minds think alike, YES Row 3 is the answer here.

Can then apply them onto any type of mechanical keyboard with ease, even all the 1800 series that were ever made or likely to be made  :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: .

The email from PMK today said they had finished with the new web site and were doing some final work on the Interest Checks.  They are trying to have it "ready to go within the next few weeks," so we could get things going again soon.  I'm going to say if we aren't rolling on the new PMK by the end of September then I'm going to attack this from another angle.  We've given them plenty of time.

Can you actually get the hyperlinks in that email to load? I can't. It just refreshes over and over, doesn't load once I click on them.

And yeah, I know the GB's for them are over, but I still wanted to see what the new layout looked like.

At this point I think it's safe to share... that Massdrop approached me a couple of weeks ago about running the Danger Zone group buy through their system and I agreed.  The current plan is to run the buy at the end of September, but manufacturing would not begin until December this year as the queue for SA production is currently very long.  SP is estimating 8-10 weeks to produce the set, so we would not see delivery until potentially February.  That's all I know at the moment and this could change again as the plan solidifies.  I'm hoping to have some pricing to share soon.

The timing is obviously not ideal, but I figure we've waited this long, as long as things are in motion we can just continue to wait and I'm sure it will be worth it in the end.  At least it's not a 7bit group buy.   :D  (jk bro, don't taze me)

That's great news! Don't worry about the time frame, its only a few months. People need to learn a little patience anyways.  :thumb:

No, not PMK.  This will run on Massdrop.  I still haven't heard any movement from SP on the PMK relaunch.  They could be another 6 months out on that, for all we know.  I'm not going to stick around to find out.  We're moving forward with Massdrop.

Also, this drop may be live as soon as tomorrow!   :-X   :-X

MassDrop, Brilliant is the word here, so that means this baby shall go through for 10 days max and we'll get to see this set made around December some time or the New Year?

Yeah I think they said it will run for a full 2 weeks (why not? there's time) and production would begin in December, barring any new delays at SP.

MD has launched this GB in his web
https://www.massdrop.com/buy/danger-zone-sa-keycap-set

The Yellow and Dark Blue is ready for purchase  8) .

Could MassDrop be the end for PMK because why even bother to develop a shop front when we have MD at our disposal ?

One of my old neighbors was a blue angels pilot. This colorway really brings me back to my dad working on ships in Norfolk! Its classic!

Is it the more common preference to have all row 3 SA rather than contoured? Or is it less expensive?

No I think sculpted is probably more common, but uniform R3 makes it easier to apply this set to "oddball" keyboards and to use alternate layouts like Colemak/Dvorak without having to piece together big, expensive kits.  Expensive kits are harder to sell (thus harder to tip) and more complicated for me to get right, so I wasn't comfortable tackling something that big for my first key set.  This one applies the KISS Principle.   ;)

I've had some time to try out uniform R3 with a Symbiosis set and it feels great! Definitely won't regret queuing for this GB. I'll hurry up and wait now :)
