that is a lot of mounting points, i'm sure you could do away with at least the side mounting tabs. otherwise looks good, that blue polycarb is especially gorgeous

The prototypes actually look astonishingly nice, but I do echo the mounting tabs for the gaskets concern from other posters - any chance to test feel and bounce with removing a couple of them?

Curious about the manu, price and QC, since polycarbonate is harder to machine.

It is, but I've been using both my Aluminum and PC prototypes for a few months now, and personally I'm very satisfied with the feel and sound of both versions. I'll look into a diff plate design though where I do away with the side mounts

I can test feel and bounce, but as it is now is ultra satisfying to me. As for price, that is in the IC form already. $350 for barebones with no PCB (there was already a GB run where plenty of people bought PCBs in advance), $400 for Solder version, $425 for Hotswap.

There is a soundtest on my instagram of the Polycarbonate version, and Alexotos did a build stream of the Alu version.

Just to be clear - is PC the only plate material being offered for this version?

Cheers, color me intrigued. Definitely will check out ig and Alex's stream, colored polycarbonate boards are beautiful. GLwic

No. FR4 is currently 100% for sure going to be an option, but I'm also going to work with the Manu on Alu and Brass offerings.

I'm looking into proxies/vendors at the moment to make it more affordable!

To answer your question, yes, you most certainly should run a group buy of this.

That blue with the screen looks beautiful.

Will this come with the option to choose top type this time, or will it still come with both? I wanted to join the first GB, but with the cost (because of coming with an extra top piece that I was never going to use) I couldn't justify the purchase. Otherwise, these look really great Kiko!

This one will come with just one top!

i just saw Hipyo's vid on this board looks good.. only thing that worries me is the lack of metal inserts for the screws.
