Hi I am super excited to present my fellow enthusiasts GMK Mika, my first keyset design inspired by my very own Shiba Inu Mika.
I totally stole her color theme for this project. Mika showed up in my life last year in June and has been a proud and stubborn member of the household since then.
This keyset is dedicated to my now best friend Mika and all of you dog lovers out there, I hope you like it!

Do consider not having an extension kit and moving most things to base.

Extension kits do not run well with GMK

I have decide let to put iso in the base kit and make the numpad a stand-alone kit to maintain cost for the base kit. Renders of the modified kits will be posted soon! Thanks for your feedbacks, I truly appreciate them!

With great demand in novelties, I would also add a shiba paw novelty for R4 in both 1.5U, 1.25U and 1U replacing the current Mika Novelty.

If you're adding ISO-UK you have missed a few keys out. If you are going for Terminal ISO you've added the wrong keys in the correct locations.

Thanks so much for the clarification, making quite a few mistakes here since it is my first time. I will update the base kit render soon to reflect the change. For the record, I am going for the Terminal ISO just to keep the base kit clean!

Hi, can understand the context that the enter key is based on Mika sleeping, but I would love to to see another profile like @stevenT suggested since the position just reminds me of the many photos posted online of dogs being sent to the rainbow bridge.

Sorry I don’t mean to apply the pain on people’s wallet. I get quite some people asking to remove it to cut base kit cost while some people would for sure prefer it in the base kit. Hope you understand that my intention was coming from a good place. Thanks for your feedback!

Just wanted to say that I like the novelties overall but I do think the Enter key/Mika sleeping one could use maybe the outline of a dog bed or something to make it seem more like she is lying down vs a dog just looking down with an arched back (which is what I saw at first before I saw your pic/comment later on). Something about it with the perspective just seems a bit off imo.
Also, the Mika sploot pic made me think it could also be turned into a cute novelty! Maybe vertically like in the pic, for the ISO enter novelty? Just some ideas ^^ GLWIC!

You could probably add numpad into base kit and keep it around the same price point, but otherwise this is a nice set! I really enjoy the soft colors instead of hard contrast like most sets these days.

After numerous discussions and data from the poll. I am sorry to say that I can’t put numpad in base and the kittings are finalized, we decided to include basic 40s in base instead. It was a tough decision to make but it seems that more people would want to have the numpad separated. Sorry again for the inconvenience, I sincerely hope you would understand, this decision was not made lightly.

I know kitting is finalized, but just felt compelled to point out that 3-key 40s support usually uses 1.5u enter--not 1.75u.
