There wasn't an order thread, per se. People who got in on the first Poker plate GB had a chance to grab some during that time.

Ahhh tank you, I doubt I would need one of those, with how clumsy I am, there is a high chance I would break things

Without them the chances are even higher ;D. But if you break it you get a chance to fix it, and that's always fun. Fixing keyboards is awesome!

well the maximum you can break with the tool would be the top cover (which you can simply replace) :)

I have a small bag of switch tops as it's the cross-points that always seem to get bent.

Only for pcb mount and plate mounts with custom switch holes. Won't work on regular plate mount.

He just sold 45 sets in a classifieds sale. I'd say that's a pretty good R2 ^__^

When the 1st round was few dollars, yes it was good.  $10 each pair? Not really.

That's just, like, your opinion, man. Obviously they're worth it at $10. They sold out.

I'm pretty sure you complained about the $6 price, so why not complain about the $10 price too........

Those Hazard keys in your sale thread were better when they were $19 during the GB. Not $30.

Come on, really?

I'm just saying as a group buy, it's a good price, but I don't consider it a "R2", if it's not an actual group buy price.

He never called it R2. He just sold them. He put all the money in himself, then sold them. It was never a GB.

Oh cmon, how did I miss R2?
Anyways I think you could easily sell these with at least a $10 profit (assuming your classified price was as nice as R1).

Probbally do another run with some lube stations. Price might be higher depending on how many sets are sold in R3

Having popped the tops on hundreds of Cherry switches, $10 is worth it to me. ;)

Yea, I'm not a fan of running GB anymore. I'd rather front a bit of money, charge a bit more and have things run more smoothly

Check this out. He did run a "R2" but it was what he had left from his initial run. They were for sale in his Classifieds thread. You'll have to buy it off another members in the Classifieds. Otherwise, check the OP in the link for alternatives to the tool.

I've made switch top removal tools out of the silver wire on binder clips before. They're not perfect but they do help get the job done.
