Leading Edge DC-3014

I always thought of this board as the holy grail of blue alps, but the description claims its brown alps.

You're probably confused with the DC-2014 that preceded it. That one is a relatively common source of blue Alps, yes. It's an old XT board though, so it's mostly used as a donor. That board is quite different and much rarer. The description the seller put up is just copied off the DT wiki though, I'm not sure I'd take that as confirmation that it has SKCL browns.

EDIT: looks pretty kickass though :D .

The Holy Grail of blue Alps is the one that Chyros bought new in true straight-ANSI layout.
"The Trump campaign announced in a letter that Republican candidates and committees are now expected to pay “a minimum of 5% of all fundraising solicitations to Trump National Committee JFC” for using his “name, image, and likeness in fundraising solicitations.”
“Any split that is higher than 5%,” the letter states, “will be seen favorably by the RNC and President Trump's campaign and is routinely reported to the highest levels of leadership within both organizations.”"

Damn, that brings back memories, that was my first computer when I was a kid, Leading Edge XT 8088 w/ 30MB MFM HD,  :)). Actually, first comp was a TI99, but that doesn't really count. Blue Alps would be nice too.

Ahh yes, I noticed this one. I also remember reading a thread where someone with a DC-3014 modified it to be in a 60% form factor by taking a hacksaw/angle grinder to it. :P People were horrified, but I remember it had blue alps, not brown. It seems they can be either.

I reeeeally liked my NTC 6151 with blue alps; it's second only to the Acer KB101A in my eyes, and maaaaybe the Chicony 5161A with NKRO. For some reason, I don't really -want- an Omnikey, despite how nice they are. It almost seems too like Northgate is cheating. :P

My hope is to get a 5161A PCB and put it in an 6151 case. ^-^ Buuut, the 5161A seems to be one of the rarest finds, even beyond the Acer KB101A.

Anyway, tangent... Nice board! Wonder who's going to get it!

They're mostly blue Alps, according to the wiki, it's just that linear browns are so rare the fact that it CAN be in there is more significant.
