Imho, silenced Topre/Nopre switches.

You get the tactility and feel, with non of the sound. :)

I agree with drakche. Silenced Topre can't be beat for overall sound and feel.

However, my next choice would be MX silent red. And then Gateron red after that.

At home I tend to use an HHKB (non-silenced) resting on a folded sheet of drawer liner which is quiet enough for most purposes.

How much does the case impact on noise?
Case material do affect the noise,but I can not tell how much.  ;D
