I think I didn't fill in that shipping address part fully (it autofilled). Do you want me to resubmit?

Some questions:

  • Would it be possible to get an extra acrylic back plate, even if we order the brass?
  • What other cases, if any, will the PCB support?
  • Any typing test for sound?

It's too bad that the Fusion60 group buy hasn't started yet. I don't have the budget for both boards, and I would want to see the final price on the Fusion.

1. Yes. PM me for details.
2. The compatibility of the PCB is the same with most 60% PCBs like GH60, Santan, DZ60, Zeal60, and so on.
3. No. I don't have a good speaker for recording sound.

I believe Fusion60 will be a good kit as well. However, TR60 is quite different from Fusion60 imo. Hope you can make the right decision by yourself.

Hmm just a random question but I didn’t notice a hole for USB input on the case, it appears to be covered by the back plate? Is that correct, it could be on the other side and just not pictured, but I saw the area for it inside the case but no exterior hole.

Ok so I see it in the new pictures that you posted, I can the the hole through the PC back plate but it is definitely covered by that plate. Will the final version gave a hole in the back plate for the wired PCB?

My concern as well, will there be a special backplate for wired PCBs? Or will we have to create them ourselves (i.e. by dremel)?

The back plate in the photos doesn't have a cutout for USB port because there's no USB port on the prototype Bluetooth PCB. The back plates you receive will have cutouts for USB port.

As the price makes this attractive for newbies, would you consider adding an option for assembly for the Bluetooth pcb?

In the OP you mentioned that the Bluetooth PCB only works with the acrylic back plate. Why is that? Reception issues or something else?

Does the web configurator for the Bluetooth PCB have layer tap functionality (layer when held, key when tapped; LT() in QMK), or does it support something like TMK which does?

1. All metal case will make the keyboard a faraday cage.

2. Yes, layer toggling is supported

I have an all-metal KBDfans 5° case and metal plate with a Bluetooth PCB and it works fine up to ~3 m. Have you tested this PCB with the metal back panel and can confirm that it doesn't work?

2. Yes, layer toggling is supported
Can you share a link to the web configurator? I would like to see its full capabilities before I order.
Also, what firmware is it based on?

1. Is the Titanium grey more like a silver or a light grey?
2. Is the brass polished or grainy?
3. What is the range of the bluetooth PCB?

Also interested in the web configurator.

Holy **** great pricing! If you are planning to make one with normal layout (non HHKB), I'll be down. For now, I'll just keep tabs on the thread!

Was really on the fence with this one, but without a dedicated ANSI layout, I just couldnt do it.

Not sure if you meant the case or PCB, but I'm pretty sure the case does.

Got too caught up with work and missed this GB. Dang.

TR-60 could turnout to be a classic so, hopefully, there will be another GB.

Re conflict between hot-swappable and flexible layout, I think the best path forward is to ship unsoldered Kailh sockets for areas with multiple layout options. Soldering Kailh socket seems pretty easy according to this video
