At it again (Custom Keyboard Mk2)
« on: Mon, 09 January 2017, 11:37:49 »
I built a custom keyboard for work that I love and use all the time. They layout is a strange one. After using it for close to a year now, I have some tweaks and new ideas I want to try. Here is my new layout geared more toward programming (my day job.)

I will post updates when I have em.

Has anyone used https://www.ponoko.com/ for making a case?
At a glance they seem to have decent prices for laser cut acrylic. I haven't put in a design yet, so I am sure the price will jump some, but I don't know by how much. Also shipping may be expensive

Looks like it costs about $30 just do do a switch plate on acrylic. And another $30 for a bracing layer. The rest of the case would then probly put it at $120 or more... Anyone know a cheaper site?

And you type Shift+{ for a space?  ;-)
Though I could be missing something.

Haha, space is the white thumb key. It just doubles as the 0 of the numpad when you hold down fn
