[IC] Titanium Spacebar

Finally got the chance to bring over more titanium spacebar. I'll start the order thread once we have at least 10 people interested.

Two options for the height: OEM profile and Cherry profile. OEM is a bit higher than Cherry. And FYI those SP's spacebars from many of the doubleshot keycaps group buys here have the same height as Cherry's.

On the left side, it's the spacebar from tsangan's green cream cheese keyset. On the right side, it's an OEM titanium spacebar.



And you have three options for choosing the appearance.

1. Shiny
2. Sandblasted
3. Brushed Finish

The price will be $100 for each.

technically i have an automatic first post, so keep that in mind when distributing, but i do want one. i think i'd want shiny, but again, i had an auto first post, so i'm fine with my request being superceded by another member

also, wire whatever = brushed finish

OEM will match the default keycaps.

Cherry will match the SP keycaps or the cherry keycaps, if you ever think of changing them.

If you don't know, I recommand you to choose the cherry profile. You'll buy another set of caps one day.

To be clear, these are 6.25 units spacebar. And I don't have plan to get some 7 units ones yet.

I'm still talking to the producer, to see if it's possible to make 4-6 stems inside. He said for Cherry profile, 6 stems should be fine, but for OEM profile, 6 stems could be a bit too heavy. Maybe 4 stems will work with OEM profile.

Anyway we're still working on it and waiting for his response about the price. More stems might cost more handing or whatever fees, but I think it's worth.

He will get back to me tomorrow morning. And then I should be able to get the ordering started.

Modifiers... hmmm, I want them so much for myself too. But he doesn't have time yet, after September, I'll ask him again to see if we can get some modifiers.

I used to think about getting a full titanium keyset, but I gave up when I found out the price might cost more than $2000. I'd prefer using this money to travel around America again.


Update: 7x spacebar should be able to happen, I'll ask my friend to send a sample 7x spacebar to the producer.

Depends.

Price will only go up if htere is no other offer.

Maybe feng will be able to produce and sell those all year around, or maybe another actor will be able to do so.

I also don't like the idea of speculating over keycaps. Buying them to keep them available for people who missed a GB is great and I'm thankfull for the people who do. But if the intend is profit, it isn't.
