Hi, Guys! I'd like to show you my new idea about a GMK keyset, I call it Ocean Dolch.

I applied cyan color (GMK color code TU2) on all the keycaps, and the keycaps color are contrary to the classic dolch color. Hope you like it!

Dare I say this looks better than Sky Dolch? Such a small change actually makes a pretty big difference. Good job!

White legend on enter is gross tbh

Maybe go for cyan mods with dark gray to set it apart from Sky Dolch

I tried to put the CC color on the cyan keycaps. the contast look very lower, it not very good I think.

I think the dark grey would be quite readable, perhaps better than the white.

I have Sky Dolch accent w/ dark grey text, and is very readable.

I agree I think I'd like it more without the white legends. Looks great though would be in for one for sure.

I was planning on cutting myself off after Terminal but this is nice.

Also, I already posted on Reddit but I agree on the accent. The white just doesn't fit.

I also think that the grey would look better, especially given autobot's example of how bright the cyan actually is.

Color is quite a funny thing when applied to real world objects vs. pixels. When viewing on screen, you're not getting a true impression of what it will look like in person. The teal shown in the screen shot is way off. I recall on some projects at work, I would input color codes based on Pantone Color Codes in Adobe Illustrator's Pantone Books, and even then, the color is off because of the computer monitor. Sometimes the viewing angle of the monitor can make colors look odd. And then trying to print accurate colors from a printer...sigh... :(

Which is why I'd always recommend working from physical color samples if possible. ;)

Does GMK issue color sample packs anyone can order? I recall seeing GMK keycaps in all of their available colors with the color codes side printed...

If so, does anybody know how much they cost?

Wow, I like it! Someone else mentioned this & I have to agree, it is surprising such a small change makes such a big difference.

I'd vote for dark grey instead of white for the legends on the cyan caps but other than that it's a beautiful set IMHO. I got a set of GMK Sky Dolch coming from Originative's latest GB of it & I think there would be many awesome combos that could be made with this & that set. Hmm, might have to open the coffers for this one here.

Is there any possibility to add the bare minimum keys to support ISO keyboards (just the bare minimum: ISO Enter, 1.25u Shift, 1x1u R4 <> key and 1x1u R3 |\ key)

Since so many people hope the cyan keycaps change their legends to more dark color (N9 or CC) , l'll try to make more mock ups to see how they look like.
Mock ups are not real world things, but they make sence for reference on color matching.

Why is 'Alt Gr' being used with this US ANSI layout keyset?

N9 would look great as the legend color of the accented cyan Enter if one was to put together the N9 mods from Sky Dolch and the N9 alphas from Ocean Dolch. However, it would be more logical for this cyan Enter cap to have a CC legend as CC is the base color of the Ocean Dolch modifiers.
