Colors
The colors used will be L9, 2B, RO2, and V2. The legends will be CR, which is black.

You are right; this is immense PAIN, the red & orange accents should've been the option we could choose, bummer indeed!

Having a day 1 coupon code is something that I really like to do in order to motivate anyone who's deadset on supporting early to do so at a discounted price.
In the coming days I will be working out some sponsor codes with switchmod affiliates for switchmod-sold sets. While the discount won't be as big as day 1, you'll also be able to support our community's content creators.
I've also seen a lot of comments about not being able to choose accent colors. Unfortunately, we wanted to keep the amount of sold kits to an egregious minimum, and so the accents are forced to remain in their own kits. The JS base was mostly of my doing, and I added the 半角 / 全角 key and the tabs/shifts so it would specifically fit thematically with the JustSystems X Realforce board, which is almost always photographed with hiragana alphas, else, it would be a normal boring accents kit. This is not something I was and still am not willing to compromise on, and it's too late to change anyways.
I've also recived a few private messages from people who said they aren'tt able to join this buy and were curious about an eventual second round. I would like to go on record to say that no matter how popular this set is, I personally will not run a r2 for the considerable, foreseeable future. This applies more to the JS base than the normal base, since that was the one I put most of my time into.

I did hear about delays as well, hoping the issues are already solved (considering a few months already passed). But probably I'm wrong and this (along with COVID) causing that 9-months production time.

None of the OG Spacekeys are 2B - the color codes should be listed with each. The L9/U9 ones would work with this keyset, since L9 is the alpha base color.

Is there any chance the JS kit will end up using the updated hiragana moulds that Zamb has been talking about for serika2/striker2?
I'm also interested in this. I'm currently thinking of grabbing JS kit extras, but I don't see a point in buying a set with outdated moulds.

Is it confirmed GMK is adopting these? The changes look good, I just find it hard to believe they'd undertake it without financial motivation.They will be used for serika2 and striker2 I believe. Not sure if the moulds will be avail to all to use as the changes are something that was proposed by Zambumon. At least that's my understanding.

The を legend is too small. It's supposed to be the same size as the わ below it (unlike ぁ, ぃ, ぅ, ぇ, ぉ etc., there is no small を kana).
It's pretty minor all things considered, and I'm not faulting the set for it — it's just annoying that we've been trying to get hiragana legends sorted out for years now, and it still hasn't fully worked out. I hope we have less of these problems in the future once Serika 2's new hiragana molds hit the tooling machine.

My European limit exists mainly as to not cut into other vendors extra market before they had their chance to list their extras themselves, and secondly so that other regions customers don't deplete European stock by buying from me instead of their regional vendors. Puddsy is an exception because he's a friend and I sent him a set with DHL Express, so in this case he did get an Extra in NA before GB participants got theirs from SwitchMod, but this is not the norm, and no vendor is prioritizing Extras over GB/Pre-Orders or anything like that.

Gotcha, I have no issue with vendors helping out friends secure a set. If they were selling all their extras before GB participants received theirs, that would be annoying.

Personally would only be annoying if the NA vendor was shipping out extras before NA GB participants got their sets. Seems like that’d be a pretty bizarre scenario though.Not sure if /s or not

Not really. I receive my orders from GMK usually the day after they ship them out because like them I am in Germany, I then immediately send out Group Buy and Pre-Orders that were placed in my store. After that, I do list extras but I limit them to Europe. Worldwide vendors, e.g. SwitchMod being in NA, take about two weeks to receive their shipment. My European limit exists mainly as to not cut into other vendors extra market before they had their chance to list their extras themselves, and secondly so that other regions customers don't deplete European stock by buying from me instead of their regional vendors. Puddsy is an exception because he's a friend and I sent him a set with DHL Express, so in this case he did get an Extra in NA before GB participants got theirs from SwitchMod, but this is not the norm, and no vendor is prioritizing Extras over GB/Pre-Orders or anything like that.
just corroborating this to be true, this is not the norm, oblo and i have been friends for a long time and he helped me out

The sets have arrived in the US as of March 31 and are undergoing screening at a CSF. Whenever this is done we can formally begin the import process and get them over to me where I can get them sent out.

Update April 6: Keycaps have passed through screening, customs brokerage (& the import process) can begin.

If you've already submitted a form but need to submit a second address change, you should be given a prompt to edit your submission, which is also totally fine!

Fill out the form, if your address is wrong from the email you received. It'll be put into a second batch of correction labels, there are plenty of people who needed to submit address changes, it's ok.
