Ah no, I haven't signed up for the Techkeys newsletters. I guess that is why I am not getting anything about the new sale. I am going to sign up for it.

I appreciate your help, Diokhan! :)

No problem at all, that's why we joined this community right? :)

I'm very excited about the possibility of getting a cap. Coincidentally, the 23rd is also my birthday.

Cool. I've had experience with making limited numbers of keys using excess material from other work, so I think I understand where you're coming from.

Sounds like you make some in limited numbers using excess materials (like extra clear resin from when you make Hungrkey skin), and if those "extra keys" turn out attractive you sell them, but if you don't like the look or there are designs that you didn't have enough excess to make, they aren't sold.

But when there are colorways with many design options in a sale, those are the colorways you were either intentionally making in the first place or the ones that turned out looking good enough with the excess resin that you decided to make a relatively large number of them.

Bingo.  There are other mitigating factors, most of it has to do with reducing waste and increasing the resin used in products.

Fair warning for tomorrow's sale

More
Downcast people will find further despair and people who dispense aloe will be rewarded in kind.

It's not always about getting your buy in.  There's someone else out there who should, ideally, love the key just as much as you.  Some day they may want to let that key see a new home and hopefully they'll part with it at cost. :)

For people who have had problems in the past.

1) Just before the sale goes live (1 minute or so) log into your paypal account.
2) Don't be greedy and add them all to cart.  More clicks and page loads = more stock already sold.
3) The inventory depletes upon checkout and not when you add the item to cart.  Don't freak out, just grab your 2nd choice asap.  If you're good at multitasking or have a friend/family who can help have them go for your 2nd choice key.

Please be civil and understand that despite its flaws the FCFS techkeys sales have their merits and keep everything here at HWS moving toward improving the situation.

Say that in the unlikely event that someone manages to checkout a second key in a second checkout attempt.
Will the second shipping be refunded?
