Keyboard of the Month - November - Nominations
« on: Tue, 29 November 2016, 02:29:52 »
Hello everyone and welcome to November's Keyboard of the Month nomination thread!

Last month's winner with over 50% of the vote was Jokrik's Blackbird

I am late again, but the thread will run for two weeks as per usual (until 13/12), but do please remember to post nominees that have been on the forum elsewhere in the month in question. Please provide a link to the message as proof. Happy hunting!
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

If the Planet 6 wins, then the circumstances of last year's win might just repeat. A keyboard that wins the last month in the KOTM run ends up winning KOTY.

I mean, just assuming everyone else is as mind blown about it as, well... everyone here  about it.

Oh yeah, and it also won a wingnut too! So you know, it might just happen! Triple threat!

I kinda like the Industrial Grey G80 1867 EN/KR.

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

There are only 24 hours left to get your +1s and nominations in! We desperately need more +1s so we can see if anyone can beat Kurplop's planet six!

It'd really be a travesty if anyone else came out over his amazingly well-made build. I mean, attention to detail... You can just see the passion put into it. It's nuts.

True, but the system is there for a reason. We have enough people voting to hopefully get a good idea of what the community wants, so it should go to a vote so people can get the opportunity to decide in a fair way.

I totally agree. We've got at least two more aside from the planet now, so we're fine for a vote, but yeah. Iget what you're saying. No month should just be given to a board without a vote.

In the meantime, here's a potato of my Mira with One Per Desk Alps hi pros (mainly anyway :P)

As much as I'd like to garner the sympathy vote, I must come clean and re-state that the injury was not related to the keyboard project.  Win or lose, I appreciate that others like my board.
