With chip shortages, is there an alternative to atmega32u4 that is readily available?

I'v considered to use STM32 but it was out of stock until next year.
I switched to RPi Pico (RP2040 MCU) but qmk did not support it. I ported qmk to the MCU myself.

It will be a USB keyboard useable with any PC/Mac; however, I will be looking into adaptors to use it with real Commodore Amigas.
