With the current run of GMK 9009 not supporting 40s kits, we from TheVan Keyboards want to offer an alternative kit for fellow 40's users. Below you will see a render of the kit, the color chips and icons are identical to the ones found on the base kit. We have already spoke to GMK and we will be selling these kits for $40 each.

This kit includes support for: MiniVans, Plancks, JD40s as well as appple M0110 Keyboards.

The product will launch when the base kit launches, estimated sometime in the coming weeks.

Currently at 35 orders, if people are struggling to get funds between the base set and this one we can extend the gb of this. Even with a one or two week extension it should arrive around the same time as the base.

Should be same as the base kit, we are thinking of pushing back the gb deadline. Since this is such a smaller order it should still be faster to process than the base.

Hey everyone we are currently at 37 orders with a couple multiorders, thanks everyone for all the support.

We want to hit 100 MOQ, once that is hit we are willing to buy up the last 50. Our original plan was to end the gb when the base kit ends (October 17th). But if people need more time to get funds we can extend it.

GB actually closes of the 15th, but if an extension is needed that will be done. Currently in contact with an eu vendor that may buy up some units. MOQ will be reached, I'm also planning on buying up 20 units and if the vendor goes through we will be sitting at around 80. So only 20 more till we reach MOQ.

Are you allowed to give word on who the vendor may be? I'm joining no matter what as the set is a classic and it'd be a shame to not cover every possible layout but if someone within the EU picks some up that may be a cheaper alternative.

I totally agree, a proxy is just something too late to add into the equation. Easier for vendors to just buy stock.

Hey everyone we have a big update. Our MOQ is currently at 92/150. That number is correct there are no typos. We need one final push from the community to reach that glorious 150. To preface what this set has to offer, it is a 40’s kit to go alongside /u/janglad GMK 9009 rerun. Our kit offers support for the Planck, Minivan, JD40, M0110, Mechmini, Core and the list just goes on. I’m hoping the people that have waited for higher numbers can finally jump on this set. Our GB ends on the 15th and each kit is priced at $40. With the 1st tier of price drop reached on the base kit I’m more than confident we can hit the moq for the 40’s kit!

That is not including the vendor purchases, currently in talks with them. We may have landed a deal .

Also talking to janglad to see if this can treated by gmk as an add - on kit, if so the MOQ will only be 100. I'll keep everyone posted while updating moq numbers.

Yeah we do not have a R1 1u backspace only R2 for the planck and other 40 form factors. The - on a standard numpad is R4 and the plus is a special mold that bridges between R4 and R3 I believe.

Up to you, our original agreement with mykeyboards was that they'd buy up 20 of the sets and sell them. Hopefully we can get more than 20 orders this way. Otherwise our moq might not be hit.
