Shouldn't the Red on White set have German legends with ä,ü,ö etc?

I mean it says ISO DE layout in the OP :D

It's vertical "slash" ISO, so it CAN be that OR standard US.  Not mixed.  The mixed sets have dashes in the names.

Thanks Dianoda. But as mentioned....for the red set, ISO DE is missing and for the black set also a few:

Black Colemak ANSI
Black DE ISO
Black GB ISO
Black ES ISO
Black FR ISO
Black Nordic ISO

I will definitely want a set and some modifier keys.

But ...can't decide on legends!

Dianoda, you're awesome!  Could I ask you a favor to draw the keys on a light pink metallic background as well (for the red version).  And I have no idea how difficult the process is, but if you'd rather just give me a bare template, I could work with that too!

Sent you a PM.

If anyone else wants a copy of my cherry legends template (you need photoshop or a program capable of editing .psd files, and some photoshop skills would be helpful, too), send me a PM.  Also, for open-ended colorway concept discussion, check out this thread (I'd prefer to not derail the GB thread): http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=43528.0

Thanks Dianoda. But as mentioned....for the red set, ISO DE is missing and for the black set also a few:

My template uses the US ANSI 104 key layout, and I only have the US cherry legends, otherwise I'd consider doing mock-ups for those other layouts, too.  Thing is, even if I had any missing legends for the other layouts, changing the legends/layout of the template is a lot more work than just using the template to make a colorway (as I have basically have to rebuild the template - all the colors filters need to be redone and precisely spacing out the legends is a pain).

lysol, I know this GB doesn't offer 1.5x mods, but some of your designs are really nice, and I imagine some of us would like the opportunity while it's available. Would you please consider adding 1x B profile mods in both white and beige? Also, the top row ones should be offered in both white and beige as well, please. Thanks!

lysol, still waiting on mock-ups

I hope we get enough of the Morocco/Arabic style sets... but I think they would look better if a full white instead of a two-tone set. The brown colors I imagine wouldn't have enough contrast on the modifiers.

PBT molds are around $12K. We need 4 new molds (1.5 B profile, 1.75 B profile, 7x space, ISO enter) so that is a lot of fundraising.

$12k total or each?

Sadly the only place that seem to have Cherry profile PBT ISO enter is Cherry ZF, and they will not sell only keycaps, and especially not only specific keycap. They only refer to GMK who does not make PBT, and BSP who does not have ISO.

New PBT molds are $12,000 each ($7,000 figure I had before was for POM molds apparently) at the factory though 7x space may even be more possibly. BSP is also missing the same amount of keys, no ISO enter, no 1.75 shift, no 1.25 or spacebars. It seems like a cruel joke or something.

Other row or sizes novelty/specialty key will probably not happen this time, if there is enough demand may be able to convince for next time. I have asked many time about making only set of modifiers keys, but have not been able to convince.

ISO layout on ANSI are a cinch, just move one key, and either drop a key or move it as secondary legend to assign to an Alt Gr or something.

Still working on a few concepts, will try and get stuff up and order form done later in the day.

The charcoal/orange mockup with Cyrillic looks amazing! Now I'm wishing the 1.25x with Cherry could stay the same color as the rest of the set or is that going to be an option? Miami Cherries would look fantastic imo.

Yeah, the mods look kinda odd. I'd prefer the Starcraft set with normal mod legends and the unique Starcraft font for the alphas, etc.

imsto made the SC2 and D3 sets. I don't really have much to do with those other than offering them for lower price in the groupbuy. I think those are already made up so there probably won't be changes made.

I wish I would have thought of dyesubs Miami version earlier... it looks a ****load better on white... I will have to bug imsto and see if there is some all white sets left to have some made up on.

Thanks for those mock-ups, they look great!!!  I like the look of the Russian gray/orange set.  I'm pretty set on getting the US Red legend now for my upcoming pink Filco.

But again, I hope you can get some photos of the Starcraft and Diablo set! The lettering is so different from anything else, it'd be really good to see how the keys look "in real life".

Edit - Shouldn't the Miami keys read Майамі instead of Маймі? I may be wrong about this :p

Yea, I made error on the Майамі legend LOL. I will fix it later...
50 set only for all white colorway, limited edition. 2tone set, no problem. But yea it would be first come first serve, then if they don't pay it go to the next. The ordersheet is a big mess, I will probably take it down and make a new one later on so it can have the single keys too. Orders may or may not have to be re-enter, but I will try to copy them in correctly.

I think I might drop off the Morocco set. Doing the legend setting for the Arabic stuff is busting my balls.

You can still replace the Morocco Set with a Chocolate ISO DE set - that will be much easier to do ;)

Lysol I see on the mockup with the US-RU charcoal and orange the window keys are in cherry orange color, is this the way the set will look like? also I see the mix of orange / charcoal you made trough all 104 keys.

Props I really like the way it looks, really unique!!! hopefully this is the way it will look, but I though that we had to pay separate for the cherry logo modifiers 1.25?
