STH, Yes, I got them custom made up by QWERkeys. I asked him if he could make a glider, so I rendered one in LaTeX and experted it to .JPG for him using imagemagick. They came out really well, and someone should do a GB so I'm not the only one with some.

How does the Ducky's quality feel compared to your Filcos Reaper? I haven't heard much about their new lines besides that the ALPS variants are still shaky on quality.

^ those scarface keycaps are matchless

Here is a melting Vader I've been molding and carving, it's still wax hence the crappy picture (and the weird colour!)
I plan to come up with a functionnal keycap any time soon

I'd like to place it on the Esc and tilt/rotate to make it look at me. Ideally it would have translucent eyes
I'll keep you updated on further improvements  :D

That's a 1087 so QC back then wasn't up to par to let say.. Filco just yet.  The new YOTD however has shown substantial improvement over any of their previous models.

As for their ALPS line, I have nothing good to say so no comments. lol  :)

Should be easy to find. Thousands were commercially produced and hardly anyone wants old typewriters so they can be had for cheap. All the models I have gotten so far have had MX or M7 Cherry switches, so the typewriters are pretty damn nice too. Some of the later Gabriele models have MY though.

Love the Esc :)

The keys go well with the silver case - MX blacks?

Actually it's a delete key technically... backspace is right next to it. Though I don't get it since they both seem to do the same thing, why 2 different key?

Backspace doesn't white-out the previous space. Delete does. :P

Type writer is not self correcting, then what? The Alpha I just got is actually functional and I played with it a bit. As far as I can tell they both do the same thing, go back one space. Can't delete ink from paper.
I guess if you are quick it deletes from memory before it types it out, as there is some delay between keypress and the letters being printed.

Only thing I can think of then is multiple key-press functions associated with each key.
