In case some of you are wondering why there's a "MANUAL" beside your shipping status, it's because I couldn't print your shipping label for some reason.  I have to go to the PO to ship it.  Good thing there's only a handful of you..but your orders are going to be shipped last.....


EDIT: Even though it says shipped for the last batch, I still have about 90 orders to box.  And as I've said earlier, they're going to be done and picked up by Tuesday.

Got my sets:
Blue (with miami spacebar)
   

And green on my Pure with white vortex and sp rt shift.  The green from sp is a bit brighter.  Not as noticeable until the lighting is good.

Also, just a note to others, these are quite tight on the stems.  I used a small screwdriver in the cap to manually open them up an tiny bit (not enough to whiten the plastic, just a tiny nudge), and they fit much better.  Be very wary of pcb mounted stabs.

All of these colors look really good. Gonna be fun mixing and matching over the next few days.

No tracking for international shipments.  You should've received an email from PayPal that the shipping label was paid for and printed.

Tracking is only available for US orders that have 7 sets and over, but people should already know that since they received emails from PayPal.  All Canadian shipments have tracking.

Got mine today.  I'm actually surprised at the quality.  The stems are a little tight, but they're about SP thickness.  The texture feels worse than SP to me, but the plastic itself feels better than SP.

Nubbinator can I see a pic of your board, how is it paired with the black on white?

I'll have to try out the blue, I'm not sure why but I just felt like the blue wouldn't work due to the red base instead of black or whatnot, so I was planning to save blue for when I get a 2nd board. Putting the blues next to the pink keys, they do work together.

I somehow lost my keycap puller and have been using a paperclip and it's kind of a pain since it's not that sturdy so I'm done experimenting tonight lol

For now I put some red and yellow on for my school colors. Go ISU! I'll test out the blue this weekend.

Compared to the other colours, the yellow is a little disappointing.  Oh well!

I'm not saying I'd get rid of them... I'm just trying to savor the moments of typing on these nicely textured keys.  Even when the keys' textures do begin to wear out, I expect to be pounding away on these double-shots for years to come.

I've never thought of the possibility of a second group buy.  I guess I'm too new here to have made out that prediction.  A second group buy does make me a lot more hopeful for future keyboard customization.  However, I feel that Elton should take a big break before deciding to host a second group buy.  The orders for this particular group buy must have taken loads of work and perseverance.

There is talk of seeing of they will do a second GB with different colours, and perhaps integrating a 6.25x space bar into the standard set.

6.25 space bar will be in the new color sets and the x7 space bar , x1.5 and x1 modifiers will fall out because the x7 spacebar stabilizer stems are not in proper place + we don't have mold for off center stepped nor off center full touch Caps Lock ( kind of kills the Tsangan kit purpose).... Most likely will be straight up ANSI modern bottom row layout and looks like we  will keep the $9 price. Elton will most likely want 2-3 months break after the space bars are delivered, I freaked a bit when he posted pics of the keycaps boxes

Why disappointing?

The white legend shot shows through the yellow just a bit, but not really noticeable when installed on a board.  Downside to having a light base colour too is that the contrast between the legend and key isn't nearly as strong.  All of the other colours are great, the legends are sharp and easily readable at a glance (if necessary).  If the yellow keys had a black legend it'd be easier to read, but then you'd see it through the key easier.  :-\

It's a lot of work to do a massive GB like this. Maybe somewhen else can make Round 2 happen - I don't think Elton would mind.
