Can someone elaborate on why the LZ TKL may be of higher quality than boards posted in IC with GB's looming? I'd like a TKL and fully understand the machining is of a high quality with LZ's boards but am curious as to some specifics from someone that can provide a comparison (specifically between perhaps Duck and TX boards as I have those or just general info). The premium isn't negligible but debating in my head as to whether it's worth it isn't helping without some insight.
Alongside top tier quality control and craftsmenship/design, it is also a pretty exclusive case. LZ is pretty OG and has a proven track record for insane quality among k.customs. this is from my limited knowledge of his works as I don't own anything (too expensive)
LZ is in TOTAL Control verses everywhere else where 3rd parties have to wait and put up with sub-standard manufacturing. LZ has the names of the very best in Aluminium makers in Seoul as well as specialty manufacturers for other equipment. Let's face it here, he has been doing this for a long time now so he knows what to achieve and what the Quality will be.
His version of Quality is up their with Rolls Royce, Bentley and other hand manufactured pieces of art that very few people will ever have a chance to own. If you want the absolute BEST with no excuses, you ALWAYS buy an LZ keyboard from the Master himself. If you have never received an LZ Keyboard before then you will be amazed at what will come to your front door, no matter where you live.
Also because he is in charge from start to finish you get his keyboard far quicker than anything from MassDrop or any other Group Buy organizer. Once you go LZ everything else will just seem dull and boring within the Keyboard Universe.
