1 Poker with Cherry reds
1 Poker with Cherry browns

Shipping to Finland.

I'm also interested in the combined shipping for these two since they would be shipped to the same address.

Imsto -- As you receive updates on the availability, I think it would be helpful to the members to know what sorts of options (outside of the Cherry switch) are available.

For example, you mentioned that they may or may not have engraved keyset available.  I also noticed someone looking for blank keys.  Just a suggestion, but I'm sure many of the members here would appreciate that.

Imsto,

According to Webwit's review:
http://deskthority.net/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=178
his sample version had problem with escape button:
Quote
ESC key problems

I need my escape key, but by default this is the ` key on the Poker and Fn + ` is ESC. You can toggle that with Fn + Q, so by default it becomes ESC, and Fn + ESC becomes `. This last step doesn’t work as documented though. It returns an ESC key code for me as well. I can easily solve this with software (toggle ` and ESC), but I find this a serious bug. I asked KBC about this and I think they are working to have it fixed for the retail version.

Is this fixed in the version you are selling?

One other question: there was question about possible screw falling out as per here:
http://bbs.kbc-china.com/thread-4854-1-1.html
Is this addressed in the version you will sell?  Thanks again, sorry for all the questions!

Just to be clear, this group buy is going to be of the PCB-mounted switch options only? I am interested in the PCB-mounted switch keyboards myself, but you should probably post in the first post about all the possible options you guys are offering with this keyboard, and what you're taking orders for. Especially options like is there going to be a white colored Poker available, and if it is, what key caps does it have.

I'm not criticizing, but if there are no clear options on what to order, people are going to order products that might not exist.

I think theres only one kind of keycaps, when there's more info I will put it on.

I predict these Pokers will end up like the Duckys and Noppoos. People will use them for a little while, then get bored, sell them and buy a Leopold or Filco.

I love my Noppoo and my Cherry Reds, so the Poker is a nice mix of both.
And since it's PCB, switches can be swapped out pretty easily. I had 2 Filcos (Black and Brown) as my first keyboards and I sold them since I wanted to try other switches. Filcos are nice and have a sturdy build, but only now are they getting Reds. I'd rather have a more customizable board with the Poker.
Keyboards:
KBC Poker
Cherry G80-11900
Cherry G80-3494

Not much of a market these days for OCN Duckys anyway if you can buy a tenkeyless Leopold for $99 or a Rosewill for $70 with free shipping.

No harsh words, but let me break it up for you. A distributor is someone who invests a capital of money (in this case in the range of several thousand dollars) into buying a stock of the requested item and then distributing it in their country. To do this legally in the EU, you will also have to be running a business and depending on the quantity, also charge and pay taxes and VAT.

Now lets move on, you are a 14 year old kid who is after free keyboards. I think you can figure out the rest on your own.

Anyone have pictures of what white on black ABS looks like? I might just hold out for black engraved on black.

Hi,

so for this group buy, the available color for the keyboard is black only? Sorry if this has been confirmed before, just couldn't find it.

I'm really interested to get one, and made this account just for this purpose, been a lurker for quite sometime :D Although seeing some of the posts here I might delay it for the second group buys.

Perhaps they got fed up with the complaining, angry westerners who never had too much nice things to say. Also the people who were just spamming these group buy topics.

Might also be that the supply just isn't enough for everyone so they prioritize the Chinese buyers. Might be a thousand good reasons why this was cancelled.

Don't hate. Your wallet didn't get any lighter.

I'll have to get a Tenkeyless Leopold with Reds (once EK has them) I guess.

Okay, so there should be distribution for Europe and US both separately. That's good enough for me. I just hope we can meet the MOQ for the European distribution since it seems a lot of people aren't really interested in the ANSI layout.
