Some small kits update on the first post of the thread

'Caps Lock' legend changed to 'Extend Mode' (in reference to ZX Spectrum +, thanks for the suggestion) which avoids confusion between 'caps shift' and 'caps lock'.

With some additions:
ps: spacebars are convex (in the ortho kit too)







Someone suggested me to make an alternative version of the alphas without sub legends, let me know what do you think of it:



I'm also working on ISO kits, I don't know if I wanna make a NorDeUk kit or separate kits (ISO UK, ISO INT, etc.), any thoughts?
I'm planning to work on a blank kit too…

And, second question: What is your opinion about making regular modifiers for control, alt and super (or whatever you wanna name it)?

KAM is basically KAT r2.
I own a KAT set and I have to say that it's really pleasant to use. It's thick and smooth, not too tall (compared to SA)…

That's R3 in standard row notation (top to bottom). Simply put, the home row.

Well according to the side view from Zfrontier website it’s row 2 (row 4 for us).

I'm really digging the mono alphas and would probably choose them over the original. I'd like to see regular modifiers would look like.

Well it’s inspired by the orignal ones. It’s kinda different from the other keycaps we usually see IMO.

Please don't stride away from speccy. It will loose the charm and become totally uninteresting for those riding the nostalgia wave.

Ah you're right. I was saying that because I don't see the arrows on the OG keyboard but when I look again they're printed on the case instead on the keycaps, my bad.

What do you mean? I basically inverted the dark blue gray with the white.

Beautiful set! The more I look at the renders the more I like it. Not crazy about the mono alphas as I think the charm of this set lies in the legends. Undecided on the light alphas. Although they do look interesting I think there's enough going on with this set that I'd stick with dark gray alphas.

Either way hope this happens, most def in for a set.

Which is not the original ZX Spectrum color. It looses the resemblance to Original Sinclar ZX Spectrum thus you don't need any of the Basic keywords printed on caps.
As I said, it's still quite nice design, but not Speccy anymore. I would not mix them into one. Maybe the white one without the keywords just keeping the font...

I agree with that opinion. I mean, it doesn’t look bad, but it’s just too different, and not in the theme anymore.

Eager to see samples. Multi-color reverse dye sub legends seem tricky, but if they're sharp, this is a really interesting idea.
