TMK Keymap Editor help required
« on: Thu, 13 December 2018, 12:39:41 »
hi all. i am trying to program my aek64, but i am super confused as to how the tmk keymap editor works.

my bottom row layout would be as follows:
L ctrl, fn1, l alt, space, r alt, win, r ctrl.

and fn layer as shown. however i am seeing keys such as 'iso /', 'iso #', 'application', the esc beside r shift.

my aek is the standard layout shown here

(credit to pic's owner)

can anyone shed some light as to how i should go about programming the board? r/mm discord wasn't much help if at all...

thanks!

That Keymap Editor should work well with your pcb, of course. Just ingore keys you don't have as Note on the editor says. Edit layout, downlaod firmware and flash it. You can do trials and errors to learn this. you don't need to hesitate it!
(I just replied to your PM but copying this here would be helpful for others.)

EDIT: Check first post of this thread to learn how to flash firmware('Program Controller' section).
