I want to remind everyone that this is a premium box that is intended to house anything from $30 artisans to unobtainable, priceless artisans. A good handful of artisan collectors have collections easily reaching into the thousands (and I never thought myself to be one of them, but here I am LOL) and I want to argue that even at the ~$250 price point, this is nothing but a drop in the bucket for high end artisan collectors. Protect your assets

Well said, that's more or less how I feel about it too. On the one hand, it's ~$70 more than I'd have hoped but considering what some of us have spent in time (and effort) to amass a collection of artisans that big (80+), it doesn't seem
too unreasonable for a high-end, custom made case. I feel as if the "like a custom keyboard" comparison is fair and if the QC is going to be as good as it sounds (probably better than some keyboard GBs), it'll be worth it in the end.
Are there much cheaper options? Absolutely. Is this for everyone...or even average collectors? Absolutely not. Am I still in because I'm a nutjob with a ton of caps that wants a case that feels worthy of how ridiculous my collection is?
You bet! All that said, if he can negotiate that price down to the $199 mark it'd probably go over a little better but I understand that it is what it is, especially for a relatively low MOQ (50 vs 150+ for others). Regardless of how it pans out, props to BAS1C for keeping us updated and being up-front with us about logistics
