arguably the beer capital of the US
colorado 1:0 utah for a winter resort!

Utah does have Uinta though and their Hop Notch and Baba Black Lager are very respectable beers.  Colorado does have a ton of fantastic breweries though.  Of course, they also have Coors, so...

"a lot of fantastic breweries"... i'd rather say that about belgium.

Oh jeez... living in what is arguably the beer capital of the US, it's hard to say.. there's so many good ones.

One I'm particularly fond of:

Man do I miss Colorado. Such a beautiful place to live and the best microbrews in the country. Drinking this with dinner tonight, some pretty good stuff.

I wasn't a fan of it, personally. Then again, I'm not a huge fan of Rogue, excluding Hazelnut Brown and Dead Guy Ale. Those are the only ones I've tried that don't just bore the crap out of me.

It's easy to underestimate my love of bacon and maple syrup. :)  I was the only person who liked it out of ~5 people who tasted. That's what's nice about the variety of beer though. That said, I couldn't drink a bottle or anything... a small 3oz pour is more than enough.

Yep, so the best thing about this beer is the dang bottle. It has like this bittery taste at the back of your tongue, almost like eating playdoh, but not as tasty. I would dump it, but I'm most opposed to wasting beer. I will finish it to the last untasty drop.

It's a local brewery, "Mohr" is an old German (non-political correct) word for black people but the name actually comes from its founder, Josef Mohr.
Not always easy to explain that to foreigners. :P

The beer is good, it counts for about half of my beer consumption.

I don't think the logo is particularly helpful in allaying the concerns of black people.

Do not know how it tastes, but that has to be one of the most attractive bottles I have seen. I want to drink that. Living close to belguim, we have many great beers here.

IMO, Shock Top is better than Blue Moon.

Have you tried the Apple Shock Top? And the Raspberry one? Or the Valencia Orange Blue Moon (wasn't too keen on this one)?

Ooh no I haven't gotten to try any of the different ShockTop (or the BM ones for that matter) flavors, but I'd really enjoy the Raspberry one I think.

I have a feeling you enjoy lambic :D

They changed the logo a bit once for some new beer and they managed to make it even more stereotype.

Well if we're saying brands, Lindemans are all I've tried. Honestly, I didn't really pay much attention to the brand, and only saw Lambic and a picture of a fruit, then drank it.

I love Moose Drool! That label looks a fair bit different than it did last summer when I had a six-pack, though... Also, be sure to collect your Big Sky caps! They have fun words on them.

Agreed about Moose Drool.  It's surprisingly good for the money.  Can't say the same with all their other beers, but they hit the nail on the head with Moose Drool.  It's like the Shiner Bock of Montana.
