(for old school players, it was my suggestion that iron smelting fail 50% of the time. I apologise for the millions of hours this wasted before they made it easier :P)
Only just cancelled my RS memebership of 7 years three months ago havn't been playing it for well over a year but it was so cheap, most likely would play it again as I hate MMO's :c got my LvL 99 Range though and Pernix set, and almost got 99 Dungoneering too :XI played since 2008 and I'm only a level 95, I think I account shares like a moron and got my stats ranked down and did some other against the rule stuff when I was much too young to even understand the rules of the game. :p
FYI hardest test of my childhood getting my first firecape in that game my heart was pounding when it came to TzJad time .-. I think it's called something like Get Maxed. I'm still in it and I've only just decided to stop obsessing about capping. I have been a pretty constant fealty lv 3 for the last 6 months or so and have got up to an admin even though I don't take part in anything socially. I think my time in MMOs has come to an end for good.

im quite close to my first cape, quest cape, probably a month away and i will get this (osrs)
Racking up my bonus XP to get 99 construction soon. Making money for it by fishing rocktails and doing slayer. I keep getting ****ing Kalphites as a slayer task though which is a bit **** and the drops suck, but i'm only lv 65 slayer at the moment.

Kalphites are great XP, I forget what they're called but there's the one hive in the southern part of the desert. Get to the round side room on a crowded world and once you clear it they respawn right as you kill one. I used to kill several hundred an hour for their charm drops + mage XP. Not that great of money though, you're right. But you can nuke a task in like 10 minutes incl travel.

I know how they did it, I actually logged in to a page to comment on the forums and was instead logging into my account behind a fake screen. So basically i logged into my account for them.
Although when i tried to log back in it wouldn't let me which I think is a security flaw. If Someone else is logged into my account I would like to be able to log them out by logging myself in.
This might mean I start playing OSRS from the very beginning hah.

I eventually finally quit for good 3-4 years ago, mostly over how easy they were making every single skill, and and that level 120 nonsense. OSRS tempts me from time to time, but I don't want to start over, especially given how I did a huge chunk of my leveling when it was still that difficult.

OSRS tempts me from time to time, but I don't want to start over, especially given how I did a huge chunk of my leveling when it was still that difficult.

I didn't say anything specifically about OSRS, just how the game developed in general. XP per hour rates kept skyrocketing with successive updates. There were skills where you might end up with 4x the xp rates of what they used to be, maybe more in some others. It feels pretty terrible when you're sitting there with 99s in previously very slow skills, and all of a sudden, that skill becomes a cakewalk.
My only major problem with OSRS (to my knowledge anyway) is that I would have to start from square one, so I never have.
Took me friend 3 months to have an account good enough to do any PVM content, think if you are a veteran of the game you can speed run the quests in two weeks.
