Keep up the good work. The replacement part for the usb connector (http://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Omron-Electronics/XM7D-0512/?qs=sGAEpiMZZMulM8LPOQ%252bykwA5NqHGuO67nV81PdmGbEec3PvMr6G6mg%3d%3d) is pretty cheap if you ever need a new one.hey thanks man! i did think of ordering from there... i would probably get diodes as well... but i was able to salvage the usb connector from the rosewill. so it didnt get damaged.
I love build logs. Thanks for sharing!Stay tuned I have some more stuff I need to desolder the leds I put in. and ill update this weekend. Thanks!
Where did you order your kmac from?My gfs friend went home and it was something asked her to get me while she was in korea. It was way too expensive. I would suggest getting an assembled board from someone. You would be looking at 400ish range for an assembled kbd.
[today's lesson... the rounded LEDs hit the top of the keycaps making a super annoying click sound.

You need the 2x3x4 LEDs.[today's lesson... the rounded LEDs hit the top of the keycaps making a super annoying click sound.
could o-rings prevent that?

so far this is what the board looked like with the pcb and plate finished. tuned MX reds. ended up desoldering and resoldering tuned switches.
