QFR Plate and Painting?
« on: Sat, 14 June 2014, 11:11:39 »
Would really like to know if anyone has an extra QFR plate... I don't have any luck finding one :(

And once I get one, what is the best type of paint for it? Do people usually spray it?

Well I mean on painting the top case as well, but I'd also like to replace the plate so I can easily replace the switches.

If you mean that you want to be able to open the switches and change out stems and springs, then you are looking for a universal TKL plate.

The group buy in that link is the last one I know about, and it is over. You should probably check the classifieds and post there when you meet the requirements to post in classifieds.

Good luck finding what you need.
I stay busy with work and family these days, but I'm still around, lurking.

Awesome, I got one!

Has anyone tried to paint theirs? Does one have to sand and prime stainless steel as well?

yes, you would need to sand and prime metal before painting ......... but why would you cover stainless?
